About these terms
The agency behind this site is SEOBerra, which does SEO and AI search work with a Canberra focus. By using seoberra.com.au you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the website.
These terms cover the website only. Any paid work is governed by a separate written proposal that we agree with you before it starts. If a proposal and these terms conflict on a point about our services, the proposal applies to that service.
We may change these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with the date at the bottom, is the current one.
Using the website
You are welcome to read the site and to contact us through it. We ask that you:
- Use it lawfully: Do not use the site in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone else's rights.
- Protect its security: Do not try to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or overload the site.
- Avoid automated abuse: Do not submit the enquiry form with false details, spam or automated scripts.
- Give accurate details: Provide correct contact details when you ask us to reply, so we can respond to you.
No guarantee of rankings or results
Search engines and AI assistants are run by other companies. They decide what to show, and they change their systems without notice. For that reason we do not guarantee any ranking, traffic level, enquiry volume, revenue or appearance in an AI answer, either on this website or in our services.
Information on this site is general in nature. It describes how search tends to work and what we do. It is not advice about your particular business, and it may be out of date by the time you read it. Check anything important before you act on it.
Intellectual property
The text, design, logo and other material on this website belong to SEOBerra or are used with permission. You may view the site and print or save pages for your own personal or internal business use.
You may not copy, republish, sell or adapt our content for commercial purposes without our written permission. Quoting a short extract with a clear credit and a link back to the page is fine.
If you send us material, such as your logo or website copy, you confirm you have the right to share it. Ownership of work we produce for you will be set out in the written proposal.
Third-party links and services
This website links to other sites and relies on outside services, including WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta, and Cloudflare, which hosts the site. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
A link is not an endorsement. If you use a third-party service, its own terms apply to you. See our privacy policy for how personal information moves through the tools connected to this site.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) explains that consumer guarantees apply to services as well as products and cannot be contracted out of. Whether a particular purchase counts as a consumer purchase depends on the facts, so check the ACCC guidance if you are unsure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law, that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. If a clause in these terms would do so, that clause is read down to the extent needed for the law to apply.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or from relying on its content. That includes indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data and loss of business opportunity.
We do not promise that the website will always be available, error-free or free from harmful components. Where the law does not allow us to exclude liability, our liability is limited, to the extent permitted, to resupplying the relevant service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Services, governing law and contact
Our services are agreed in a separate written proposal that sets out the scope, the price, the timing and any other terms. Until you accept a proposal, we have no obligation to do paid work and you have no obligation to pay.
These terms are governed by the law in force in the Australian Capital Territory. Both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the ACT and the Commonwealth courts that sit there.
Email hello@seoberra.com.au with any questions about these terms, and a reply will come within one business day (Monday to Friday).
These terms give general information only. A qualified lawyer should review them before anyone relies on them for a dispute or a contract.
